We have improved many homes over the years. The three below from last year had diverse briefs, which required us to produce very distinctive styles, demonstrating our ability to understand, and respond to, our clients needs.
Covent Garden
One of a handful of freehold houses, the brief was to make a spectacular home for a professional couple, keen on entertaining. The overhaul included removing the ground floor to create a voluminous informal space with a suspended dining mezzanine and glazed terrace over. Kensington
The project required the refurbishment of a grand, grade 2 listed house. Structurally the house required only minor changes, the challenge was to discretely and sympathetically update the house with all the tools for modern family living – air con, data, AV, acoustic insulation. These all need to be buried away in the fabric of the house to allow for a rich and seamless finish. Highlights included a library, hand built on site, that complimented the buildings proportions; and reproducing all period details to restore the house to its former glory. See more...
Chelsea
A tired three storey home that needed the full works to breath life back into it but not to be over-engineered. The house had to feel homely and retain it’s natural elegance but address the needs of a young family. Three floors were opened up front to rear to allow light to flood through and traditional style finishes added but all with a modern twist.
